Alfie’s Tudor Food Project

A fabulous package arrived at school today: Alfie’s food project, beautifully presented and good enough to eat (provided you follow the health warning about not eating the sweetmeats with the gold on!). It arrived with illustrated menus and a booklet with background about the Tudor period. The treasure chest contains authentic recipe Tudor sweetmeats – little shapes made from marzipan (or marchpane as the Tudor’s called it). Two days before the deadline too. Great work, Alfie.
