Some letters about School Uniform

School uniform is something that divides opinion. Before Mounts went off to Croft Farm we wrote a letter to the incoming Headteacher to express our opinions and persuade her that the school uniform should be kept or scrapped:

Some of the History Projects from Mounts

Lot’s of interesting things have arrived in the classroom this week. Here are some examples of History projects from Mounts.

‘Xmas’ by Thea

Xmas day makes me happy in every way
Lots of presents and food to eat
And fall asleep in my seat.
Fire roaring keeping us warm
Been awake since first dawn
But it’s my favourite time of year
Lots of festive cheer.

Thea’s Trench Diary

I am not enjoying it here. I hate it. Lots and lots of people have died in tryed to escape. I have a very bad cold. I don’t feel very well. Every time I go out of the trench I get hurt. I really want to come home. Bill is in the corner shivring like a ghost and looking like one to. My other friend is in [hospital] so I can’t see him. We hope he gets better.

I don’t think I will be back by Christmas.

Thea’s Confession

My Mistake

I made a mistake when I gave
my baby sister a cerlywerly.

I made a mistake when I said
to the zebrer to lay on
the zebra crossing.

I made a mistake when I spilt
the Dr Pepper on the flore.

I made a mistake when I put a
fake poo on the teachers chair.

I made a mistake when I gave
my dog my dads dinner.
